Turnitin Grammar Update
Turnitin Removed ETS Grammar Check
Turnitin made the unfortunate announcement that they no longer support the ETS grammar check due to their partner no longer supporting the tool. Since this tool was provided by another company, Turnitin didn't have a choice in the matter. Please read below to learn more.
Alternatives
7-12 Teachers
Since teachers do not have access to the grammar check in Turnitin, we have a couple of options we recommend. For our 7-12 teachers, your students can use Draft Coach on their Google docs to get feedback on grammar, spelling, tone, and more. Draft Coach is a great way to put the work back on the students, so they can ensure their submissions is ready to go! Check out the video below!
9-12 Teachers
All of our 9-12 teachers have access to Writable to create and grade writing assignments. Writable includes an AI check and a grammar rating tool, so teachers get great information right of the bat. Check out the video below to see how to use Writable in Schoology.
