WARM WINTER DRIVE RESULTS
Thank you to all the friends and families who participated in our Warm Winter Drive! Your generosity and kindness have made a meaningful impact on our Washington School community.
Thanks to your support, we raised $753.98 and donated over 230 pieces of warm winter gear!
Your contributions are truly appreciated and will help keep many in our Washington and Owatonna community warm this winter. Thank you for making a difference!
GIVE KIDS A SMILE 2025
Main Street Dental Clinics is proud to participate in Give Kids a Smile 2025, a special event offering free dental care to children in need.

Services Provided:
- Free dental treatment, including exams, cleanings, x-rays, and restorative care.
How to Schedule:
- Call 507-455-1000 to book a 1-hour appointment.
- Spaces are limited, so schedule early!
- New patients should mention that they are first-time visitors when calling to ensure proper scheduling.

WASHINGTON PTO DONUTS WITH GROWN UPS
The Washington PTO is excited to invite you to Donuts with Grown-Ups on Friday, January 10th, from 7:15–7:45 AM! Join your student in the small gym (enter through Door 10) to enjoy a donut together. Grown-ups are asked to stay with their student until 7:45 AM, when school supervision begins. Afterward, students can head to the big playground. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER!

ENGINEERING NIGHT WITH THE WORKS MUSEUM
We are excited to host a family night with the WORKS museum Tuesday January 14th from 4:30-6:00 pm at our school! There will be 5 stations of activities where students will explore various science and engineering concepts including:
- Wedgits: Use 4 sided squares to build elegant towers
- Mini Catapults: Build and test a miniature catapult to fling a projectile; test and redesign to make it travel farther.
- Super Stick Structure Team Challenge: work in adult-child teams to build amazing free- standing structures using two simple materials.

- Circuit Play-- Switches: Create a circuit and experiment with different types of switches to control a light bulb or motor.
- Rainbow Glasses: These spectacles use light and engineered prism lenses that make spectacular rainbows.
