You might need help filling out your FAFSA. Lakeland High School counselors are offering a very special opportunity that will do just that. On Thursday, October 13, beginning at 5:30pm we will have professionals from Cleary University on site who will work with families to complete the FAFSA that very night! Come in, bring your materials, sit down at one of our computers and get assistance from a professional on filling out your FAFSA. No need to bring in your 2015 tax returns. You’ll be able to upload it right into your FAFSA application.

You can attend parent-teacher conferences that afternoon and head straight to the FAFSA workshop, if you like. It will take about 20 minutes to complete the whole process. Please be our guest at this very important event.

• Both a parent and student will need to attend together to complete the process.
• Both a parent and student will need to have a FAFSA ID. You can get yours by clicking on this link: https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm. You’ll need your Social Security number to get the FAFSA ID.
• Supplementary materials such as W-2’s and bank statements.
• Social security numbers for everyone who will be listed on the FAFSA form.
