Community Pep Rally: United in Spirit
Midweek, the excitement reached new heights at our community pep rally, where students, staff, and families gathered to show their support for our teams. The turnout was fantastic, with an impressive crowd that filled the stands and the field. Our cheerleaders and Texas Star rallied the spirit, the band played lively tunes, and our athletes shared their excitement for the upcoming game. The night concluded with the "lighting" of the "M" and our alma mater. The sense of unity and pride was palpable, creating an atmosphere that truly encapsulated the spirit of our school community.
Homecoming Court
A highlight of the week was the announcement of our Homecoming Court, which recognized outstanding students who embody the spirit and values of our school. The crowning of Mr. and Mrs. Bulldog added to the excitement, celebrating two remarkable teachers, voted on by the student body, who have made significant impact on our students. In addition, we were thrilled to announce the Class of 2025 Homecoming King and Queen, who were crowned during half-time, adding an extra layer of joy to the celebrations.
Victory Over Klein Oak: A Game to Remember
Friday night was the highlight of our homecoming week, as our team faced off against Klein Oak. The energy in the stands was electric, with fans decked out in jerseys and school colors, cheering at the top of their lungs. Our players delivered an outstanding performance, securing a triumphant victory over Klein Oak that had everyone on their feet! The win was a testament to the hard work and dedication of our athletes, and it set the perfect tone heading into Saturday night's homecoming dance.
A Hollywood Homecoming
The homecoming dance capped off the week in spectacular fashion. With nearly 700 students in attendance, the cafeteria transformed into a dazzling venue filled with lights, music, and laughter. Students danced the night away, enjoying the lively atmosphere created by our amazing DJ and the stunning decorations. The energy was palpable, and everyone relished the opportunity to celebrate together, making memories that will last a lifetime.
Thank You!
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our dedicated staff, volunteers, and student leaders who made this week possible. Your hard work and enthusiasm truly brought our homecoming celebration to life. Here’s to many more events that bring our school community together in spirit and joy!
