Forestdale School News

This week, January 13th-16th, is a short week of school with a long Martin Luther King weekend ahead. Students will have NO SCHOOL on Friday, January 17th, due to a full day teacher professional development day.

This backs into NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 20th, in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Students will return to school on Tuesday, January 21st. Enjoy the long weekend!

Our Lost and Found area is growing. If your student has lost clothing please have them come down and look or feel free to visit the multi purpose area, adjacent to the main office.

We will look to donate all remaining lost and found clothing during February break.

Starting on Monday, January 13th, all Extended Day afterschool pick-ups for students will happen in the front of the building, with families parking in the bus loop and walking through the front doors to sign out their student. Families should buzz in as usual. A newly installed buzzer will alert the Extended Day staff that families are at the front door to pick up their student. This will occur after 4:00 PM each day and is only for PM Extended Day pick-up.

Extended Day AM drop off will remain in the same location, in the back of the building, entering the cafeteria/multipurpose room.
