Dragon Community,

As we reach the end of another school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve all taken together over the year. This school year has been filled with remarkable achievements, personal growth, and memorable experiences that have shaped us all.

To our dragons, you have shown resilience, creativity, and a passion for learning. Each one of you has grown in unique ways, and it has been a joy to watch you explore new ideas, overcome challenges, and build friendships. Your curiosity and enthusiasm are what make our school such a vibrant place. Continue to dream big and strive for excellence in everything you do.

To our families, your support and involvement have been invaluable. Whether helping with homework, participating in school events, or simply being there to encourage and motivate, your role in your child’s education is crucial. Thank you for partnering with us and for your unwavering commitment to your children’s success.

To our dedicated staff, your hard work and dedication have made this year a success. From creating engaging lessons to providing a safe and nurturing environment, your efforts do not go unnoticed. You have gone above and beyond to ensure that our students have the best possible educational experience. I am deeply grateful for your professionalism and passion.

As we look forward to the summer break, I encourage everyone to take time to relax, recharge, and spend quality time with loved ones. For our students, I hope you take the opportunity to explore new interests and continue learning in fun and exciting ways.

Yearbooks have been distributed on June 6th to all students who ordered yearbooks. We do have a few extra yearbooks available for purchase. They are $12 each (cash only and exact amount - the office cannot make change) and will be given on a first come, first serve basis. If you think you ordered a yearbook and did not receive one, you may have opted to have the yearbook mailed to your home. Please feel free to email Mrs. Murphy and cc your child's teacher for any yearbook questions (rmurphy@troy.k12.mi.us).

Reports cards will be available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal on June 25th. If you want to keep a copy of your child's report card, please remember to print your copy before July 30th! This is a hard deadline as the data for the new school year will be uploaded August 1st. If you need help with your PowerSchool account, please email the TSD technology department at pssupport@troy.k12.mi.us.

Due to the delay in receiving the finalized 2024-25 district calendar, we are unable to create CARE registrations for the upcoming school year. We have already notified all currently enrolled CARE families about this delay and posted on our website. Once registrations become available, we will inform you and update our CARE families. In the interim, please direct any parent inquiries regarding CARE registrations to tsd-care@troy.k12.mi.us.

Monday was a spectacular day for our Dragons! The 5th grade class had their Fun Day, which included a trip to Beachwood for some swimming, tennis, basketball and GaGa ball. All Schroeder students were treated to an end-of-the-year pizza party during their lunch periods, complete with music, balloons and Drake! Thank you, PTO! Monday was also Field Day. Phew! So many fun memories were made on this last full day of school. 🥰
