Parent Information Evening - Monday, September 9
Time: 5:45 PM - 8:30 PM
Location: Coristine Hall
Who Should Attend: Parents of students in Grades 9 to 11
Join us for an informative evening where you'll have the opportunity to meet your son's teachers and gain insights into the upcoming school year. Mr. Banerjee (Head of Senior School), Mr. McCarney (Academic Director) and Ms. Peterman (College & University Advisor) will lead the opening session prior to parents meeting their son's teachers. Teachers will provide an overview of their courses and what to expect throughout the year. Upon arrival, you will receive your son's schedule, along with a list of his teachers and the locations for each presentation. Throughout the evening, teachers will reference the Grade 9, 10, and 11 Course Descriptions, which we encourage you to review beforehand.
Terry Fox Run: All Selwyn House students will be participating in the annual Terry Fox Run on Friday, September 13. Students will attend school in their house t-shirts and Selwyn House athletics wear and should be prepared to run outside regardless of the weather. We also recommend bringing a water bottle. Please read the following Parent Information Letter for specific details about fundraising, event timing, and expectations. Please encourage your friends and family to support our fundraising efforts by donating on our school fundraising page.

Students and staff will honour the lives lost from Canada’s residential school system on September 30th by wearing orange shirts. Students may wear ANY orange shirt on Sept. 30 with their uniform pants and proper school shoes. Our orange shirt design is the same as last year, featuring a two row wampum. These orange shirts may also be worn throughout the year as part of the SHS physical education uniform.
