Welcome back to Northwood Middle School!

Dear Northwood Middle School Families,

We are thrilled to welcome you to another exciting school year at Northwood Middle School! The start of this year has been nothing short of fantastic, with our students already showing incredible enthusiasm and dedication. From engaging in their studies to participating in school activities, they're truly starting off the year on a strong note!

We encourage you to take a few moments to read through the rest of this newsletter, as it contains important information and updates that will help you stay connected and informed throughout the school year. Your partnership is invaluable to us, and together, we can ensure a successful and enriching experience for all our students.

If you have not completed your Back-to-School update, please do so as soon as possible. This must be done every year for every student. Completing this ensures that your student can attend field trips and after-school activities, and most importantly, that emergency and medical information is up to date. Multiple emails have been sent and will continue to be sent to those parents who have not yet completed this requirement.

The Anxious Generation - A Discussion on phones and teenagers

The admin team at NWMS is interested in planning an evening event for parents and students to hear a presentation on the book "The Anxious Generation". Before setting up an event we look like to gauge interest. Please take a few seconds to answer the poll below indicating if you would be interested in attending an event like this.

W.O.W. (While Out Walking) Moments at NWMS

NWMS 24/25 WEB Leaders

Our 5th grade orientation went really well this year in no small part because of our amazing WEB leaders this year. Thank you for your role in making Northwood a place Where Everyone Belongs!

Our students are feeling good!

Our 8th grade team planned a beginning of the year social for our students. It had them yelling "YAY SCHOOL!"

Our Choir program is looking STRONG!

Mrs. Sammarone is so excited to have such a large 5th grade crew this year. They have hit the ground singing and are prepping for their first concert later this year.
