• "9th Period" after-school student social, sponsored by Cobb PTA, 3:45pm - 5:45pm, both gyms. Tickets for non-members will be sold during lunches on Wednesday and Thursday. Cost is $5. Student members will be given a wristband for entrance to the social on Friday. Please make sure you arrive to pick up your student no later than 5:45!

• Tuesday, August 23 - Meet the Teacher night. Please note - this is a parent only event due to space limitations.

• In the 2022-23 school year, FISD cafeterias will return to charging for school breakfast and lunch based on eligibility for meal benefits. The federal waiver that allowed schools nationwide to offer free meals to all students regardless of income has expired.

• Families with low household income are encouraged to apply for meal benefits.
