😁 Together we celebrated our Veterans last Monday in recognition of their service to our country. Our students prepared a meaningful tribute recognizing the sacrifices of the service members in attendance.

😁 Our NJHS encouraged our students to be the "I" in KIND to celebrate World Kindness Day. We learned that each one of us can make a difference through random acts of kindness.

😀 The Walk-a-Thon was a HUGE SUCCESS! We are incredibly grateful to all our families and sponsors who helped make this a great day.

This was a wonderful day to celebrate our community members who served our country in the Armed Forces. Our students prepared a memorable tribute to our Veterans. We are thankful for the support of our local town government. Thank you Mayor Barberio and Councilman Musella for attending!

Selected students in grades 3 , 4, and 5 participated in the New Jersey Consortium of Gifted and Talented Programs (NJCGTP) Math Marathon last Thursday. The students engaged in a multitude of events designed to challenge their math knowledge. Grade 3 students shared their perspective about the activities of the day for this post. Christian said he learned, "...alien math, number circuits, and magic squares." Saanvi stated that she was challenged, "I had to use my thinking brain!"

We had a BLAST at this year's annual walk-a-thon. All teacher and students had a pep in their step throughout the day. Mayor Barberio and Councilman Musella walked with us and Mr. Oliveira kept us on our toes answering trivia questions along the way. We wrapped up our event in the gymnasium with an all-school assembly. Prizes were awarded to student winners and fun was had by all. My favorite part was watching students cheer for each other as prizes were awarded!

Thank you to all our families and friends for supporting this great event and to Mrs. Carroll and Mrs. Mansour for the countless hours dedicated to creating such a successful Walk-a-Thon! Together we almost tripled our goal and raised over $14,000.00. We can't wait for next year's event!
