Dear HA Students, Staff, and Families,

As we close out another incredible school year, I want to take a moment to reflect—and to say goodbye. After many years in education and a truly rewarding time here at Hampden Academy, I’ll be retiring at the end of the summer.

To our students: You’ve brightened every day with your energy, resilience, and accomplishments. I hope you head into summer with pride in everything you've achieved and excitement for what comes next.

To our parents: Thank you for your trust and your support of HA. It’s been an honor to work with you in helping our students grow and succeed.

To our staff: You are the heart of HA. Your passion and dedication have made this an amazing place to work. I'm grateful for all we’ve accomplished together.

Wishing everyone a fun, safe, and relaxing summer. Though I won’t be greeting you in the hallways next fall, I’ll always be cheering Hampden Academy on—from the stands and from the heart.

Long-time HA Social Studies teacher Al Hills is on lunch duty for all three lunches, every day of the week. He gets to see all of our students, each day. Mr. Hills Award selects a student each month who exhibits outstanding citizenship on a daily basis.

This is the students' chance to recognize and appreciate the teachers who make a difference in their lives.

Every month, each student is able to nominate a teacher who they believe has gone above and beyond. The teacher with the most nominations is honored as our "Teacher of the Month," recognizing all forms of excellence - from innovative teaching methods to showing exceptional care for students.

This month was a tie!

Congratulations to our outstanding athletes who competed at the Class A State Track Meet at Lewiston High School!

Here are some of the top performances from the day:

• Alexis Hamel — Pole Vault: Class A State Champion (tied school record)

• Andy Henaghen — Javelin: Class A State Champion (new school record)

• Addison Elliot, Lilly Tripp, Madi DiCentes, Natalia Charles — 4x400 Relay: Class A State Runner-up (new school record)

• Addison Elliot — 800m: Class A State Runner-up; 1600m: 4th place (new school record)

• Taylor Scales, Rachelle Melanson, Madi DiCentes, Breah Curtis — 4x100 Relay: 3rd place

• Dylan Courtney — Pole Vault: 3rd place

• Caleb March — 400m: 4th place

• Cade Downer — Long Jump: 4th place

• Natalia Charles — 400m: 4th place

There were many great performances throughout the day and the season, but these were the top highlights from Lewiston High School. We are incredibly proud of all our athletes and their hard work!
