News From the CMSHS Nest!

Happy Monday!

Thank you to all who came out and visited with us last Thursday for parent/teacher conferences. It was great to see everyone! If you were unable to come and visit, we will be sending home report cards and information on how to access your child's ATLAS scores online. This is the state assessment all students in grades 3-8, and students taking Algebra, Geometry, and Biology took last spring. More information will be shared soon about scores and how we will support students who need intervention in math and literacy.

Be sure to check out the calendar of events below so you are always in the loop!

A quick reminder about dress code - please check your child before they leave the house for pajama pants, track shorts, and just overall appropriateness. Also remember as it begins to turn cooler students may NOT bring blankets to school. If they are in need of a jacket, coat, or any clothing items, please reach out to Terry Lawler and she can assist in helping get what is needed. He email is terry.lawler@cmseagles.net

UPDATE - We are in the process of ordering our Yondr Cell Phone Pouches. We will be updating you on the the process and policy regarding how students will use them as we receive them and begin implementing them.

Eagle fans, a friendly reminder! For the safety of all our spectators, students must remain in the stands during the game, except for visits to the concession stand or restroom. This will be strictly enforced. Let's show our Eagle spirit while keeping our games fun, safe, and respectful for everyone. Go Eagles!

Please remember - We need students here everyday! If your child is absent for any reason, please send a note within 5 days from the absence to Mrs. Bissell. Also, parents are allowed 5 notes per semester!

We have had a great start to the year regarding dress code. The students have been dressed appropriately and ready for learning! The illustration below really sums it up! Just remember, no pajama pants, track shorts, and headgear. And remember the dress code, as this applies to the school day AND school sponsored events - including football games and other sporting events.
