Hello Greenbrook Gator Parents!

Field Day is MONDAY (weather permitting!) Rain Date is Tuesday, June 10th.

All of the volunteer slots for Field Day are filled. Thank you! As a reminder, if you are volunteering for Field Day, younger siblings who are not of school age are not allowed to attend.

The end of the year is near! Last day of school is June 27th.

Early Release Days are June 25, 26 and 27.

The book fair is coming! Our last fair of the year opens next Friday, June 13 and will close at the end of the school day on Thursday, June 19. All classes will go to the fair during their library special or research block, starting with Friday classes. Please be sure to either create an eWallet for your child, or send them with cash in an envelope or plastic baggie - baggies work better as fair volunteers can fill them with change and seal them so nothing gets lost. Please keep in mind that Scholastic requires tax to be paid on all items, so please include a little extra money than the total value of the items your child is looking to purchase). The book fair will be open all day every day, so students who forgot or didn't bring money, or who were absent on their scheduled day, can visit the fair anytime to shop. Finally, parents can shop with their children on our parent night, which will be held on Wednesday, June 18, from 6-7:30 during our Gator Gathering. Happy reading!

If you are moving this summer, please be sure to contact Pushpalatha Flint (pushpalatha.flint@sbschools) to arrange for transfer cards and collection of technology.

All students who have district chromebooks will keep them over the summer. Students are responsible for their chromebooks and chargers and will be expected to return to school with them in the fall.

If your student is having tech issues with the device, please complete this form so that it can be addressed.

If you have lost the charger, you’ll need to purchase a replacement through MySchoolBucks.

If you are moving out of the district, devices must be returned to the district prior to the last day of school.

Do you have any Greenbrook Spirit Wear that no longer fits your family members? Consider donating gently used items back to Greenbrook so that we can share them as needed! Just send them to the office c/o Aileen Beck!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to this amazing and generous Greenbrook Community! Over the past two years, through Boosterthon, you have raised $21,000 for our new sound system in the gym.

The sound system will be installed in early JUNE and in time for Graduation! Thank you for helping us to add this necessary update.

As the weather continues to improve and we have more outdoor recess days, please have students wear SNEAKERS every day. We are seeing lots of crocs and sandals. Sneakers are the safest option!

Firefly Camps will offer a $100 discount to Greenbrook Families. Upon registration, please make a note or contact the office to let them know you are a Greenbrook Family. (www.fireflycamps.com)

SIGN UP to take home a PE BUCKET OF FUN!!!

The bucket of fun is back!!!!! Sign up so your Greenbrook student can have the opportunity to take home a PE Bucket of Fun!

As the weather improves, every week a different student will be selected to take home a bucket, but you must sign up! All buckets will be distributed on Thursdays and should be returned the following Monday. The buckets encourage family fitness and allow students an opportunity to take PE equipment home and create activities to play with their family or friends.

We would love to hear how students are creative with the equipment and the games they chose to play with the bucket of fun!
