Welcome back to another amazing year at Harbison West Elementary School Gifted and Talent Development Magnet, where the pencils are sharp, the markers are uncapped, and the excitement is through the roof!

I hope you all had a fantastic summer filled with sunshine, laughter, and just the right amount of "I’m bored" moments to remind you how much you love school. We've missed the hustle and bustle of our hallways, the curious questions, and the contagious enthusiasm that only our incredible students can bring.

This year, we're diving into new adventures, tackling challenges, and embracing the joy of learning like never before. Whether you spent the summer reading the latest superhero comics, building the tallest Lego towers, or perfecting your cannonball splash, we can't wait to hear all about it.

This year, our theme will be to “Discover the Hero in You”. As we kick off our first full year of implementing the Schoolwide Enrichment Model, it is important to know and understand that there are gifts and talents in all of us! We will look to take a deep dive not only in our interest, but discovering more about who we are and what we enjoy! You will also walk into a building with new signage, furniture, and upgrades in key areas that will help us “Scream Our Theme” of being a gifted and talent development magnet school!

Our team of super teachers has been hard at work, planning lessons that are sure to ignite your curiosity and spark your creativity. We're committed to making this year not just educational but also unforgettable as we maximize the outcomes for every student.

Remember, Harbison West is not just a school; it’s a community. We’re here to support each other, learn from each other, and most importantly, have fun together. So buckle up, this year is going to be a wild ride of knowledge, friendship, and countless memories.
