PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

Our presentation with speakers Ben and Jordan Gravy was fantastic. All of the students enjoyed hearing their stories of surfing, traveling, creating You Tube videos, and all of the challenges they overcame.

Mrs. McGinnis's classes did a great job decorating their pumpkins! They came out great! Check out the pictures below.

Shout out to Mrs. Newman for offering interesting books to our students and keeping them reading!

Mr. Langhurst has been creating really cool things with his 3D printer. He even helped a student make a gamer tag this week.

Ben Gravy Visits for Red Ribbon Week

In recognition of Red Ribbon Week, Eagle Academy students and staff enjoyed a very special visit from our very own record-breaking local legends and world-renowned YouTubers, Ben and Jordan "Gravy". Ben and Jordan shared their incredibly personal journeys of the trials and tribulations experienced with substance abuse and through finding recovery. The "Gravys" proved that anyone can defy the odds and trailblaze their way to success, encouraging and inspiring others to do the same.

It's Pumpkin Decorating Season!

Mrs. McGinnis's Culinary classes have begun the seasonal pumpkin decorating project this week. Students pick templates and either carve or paint their pumpkins.

The Eagle drum circle is growing! This Friday there were eight students feeling the rhythm downstairs in the gym.
