I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Break! I can't believe it's already December. Now that marching band is over, we will be inside every day preparing for our concerts and auditions. As we move towards Christmas Break, please be aware of the schedule. There are a lot of events happening before we leave.
Next week, we will also post the flip grids for you to post your chair test recordings for your band placement auditions. These videos will be part of how we determine which band you will be in for next semester.
We are having a door decorating contest! This will be done by section. We will assign your section a door tomorrow. More details are posted below. I'm excited to see what you come up with!
Region Band Auditions:
The itineraries are posted below for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 region auditions this week. Here are all the instruments that will be attending phase 1 auditions on Monday:
Flute
Bb Clarinet
Alto Saxophone
Trumpet
Tenor Trombone
Percussion
If your instrument is not listed, you will move straight to the Phase 2 auditions on Saturday the 7th. French Horns, no that is not a typo. There are not enough French Horns to do a phase 1 for you this year.
