Are you looking to thank a teacher, custodian, associate or secretary? Do you want to perform an Act of Kindness? Are you wanting to purchase a holiday gift for your speech therapist, classroom teacher, or the social worker?
Look no further...
The VDELC staff has filled out "Sparkle Forms". These forms can give you ideas of our staff members' favorite things.
The forms are organized by Class Icon, Special Education Staff, Interventionists, Home Visitors, Parent Educators, Cafeteria, Specials Teachers (Gym, Music and Media Center), RTI associates, Noon Hours, Custodians, and Office Staff.
If you try to locate a teacher and can't find them, they may have chosen not to participate.

A Note from the Nurse
Brrrr, it's cold outside! During the winter months, it is especially important to make sure your student has a change of clothes at school that is seasonally appropriate. Students will oftentimes need a change of clothes for multiple reasons such as spilled drinks, wet playground equipment, potty accidents, etc. Please make sure along with the change of clothes you include underwear, socks, gloves, and a winter hat.
On occasions when students do not have a change of clothes available, we do have them borrow from us. These items are all donations and we do have a very limited supply. We ask that parents please kindly wash these garments and return them as soon as possible. We also are always accepting donations for children’s pants and underwear (mostly sizes 4-7).
I hope you all have a happy and healthy month of December!

What is Neurodiversity?
At Verda Dierzen, we believe that all minds are beautiful and help make our school the fantastic place that it is. In support of this value, we are learning about and celebrating neurodiversity. Neurodiversity describes how each brain is individual and processes and uses information in their environment in unique ways.
If you missed any of our neurodiversity information tidbits, please click the link below.
Neurodivergent children’s learning and playing may look different from their neurotypical peers, but this does not mean how they are learning is wrong - just different.
