Junior Spotlight
Forty- six high school juniors from across the state visited Nashville for the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association's (TECA) annual Youth Leadership Summit. Delegates to the event receive a hands-on look at state government, learn networking and leadership skills, and develop better understanding of their local electric cooperatives.
VEC's student representatives are Braden Watson and Paislee Yeager, juniors at Rhea County High School.
Classroom News
RCHS Chorus participated in the JB Lyle Regional Choral Festival on March 5th and received an overall score of 2 (Excellent). This is a great group of students and they are very deserving!
Coach Poe, Mr. Tallent, and Mr. Derlak had their students complete WWII projects in the their World History classes. All the students had their hard work displayed in the library in the form of a museum.

For the first time in RCHS history, the JV soccer team won the championship at the 2025 Smoky Mountain Cup in Gatlinburg, TN. They won all 3 of their games during Spring Break! Go Eagles!

Club & Organizations
RCHS students Fiona Vickers and Nadia El Gafy attended the Tennessee 4-H Congress. They with Representative Ron Travis, Senator Adam Lowe, and Governor Bill Lee. Participants also learned about the legislative process of our state government.
