OTHER NEWS
Lost and Found
At the end of each month, the "old lost and found" is moved to the front hallway before it is donated. The "new lost and found" items are placed on a table in the cafeteria so that the newer items are not donated with items that have been in the lost and found all month. Jewelry, air pods, phones, keys, etc. as well as items with students' names on them are turned into the office.

City of Boise Event - Taco bout Teens
Marie Hattaway invites you and your students to Taco-bout Teens, October 3, from 6–8 p.m. at the Fort Boise Community Center (700 Robbins Rd, Boise ID 83702). If we get enough interest, we can help provide transportation or bussing.
This event is designed for teens (ages 12+, grades 7–12) and the adults who work with and support them. It's an exciting opportunity to connect, share ideas, and have fun with interactive activities. Plus, we’ll be serving delicious free tacos!
Here’s what is planned:
A chance for teens to meet new friends and share thoughts on teen activities they can design and/or participate in.
Engaging, hands-on activities that promote creativity, ideas, and teamwork.
Opportunities for adult allies to connect and collaborate with teens, youth service providers and other community members.event link via email or social media
Plan Ahead
Tuesday, November 5, will be a non-school day for students. With a high voter turnout expected for the presidential election, this change will help ensure a safe environment for both voters and students while assisting Ada County Elections in managing the polling process.
PTO
On October 17, the PTO is providing a meal to our wonderful staff members for parent teacher conferences. Please sign up here to bring chips, drinks, or dessert and/or to help set-up or clean-up.
Volunteers are needed for the school dance on October 24, particularly for set-up and clean-up. Please sign up here to help out.
We need your help to keep the girls' restrooms stocked with feminine hygiene products. This is an ongoing need. Please bring products to the front desk while you're in the building for parent/teacher conferences on October 16 and 17 (or any other time), purchasing from the Amazon wish list to be shipped directly to the school, or with a monetary donation to Les Bois earmarked accordingly.
The Outpost is slowing down between athletic seasons and will only be open in October for the dance on 10/24, lunch on 10/25, and when early winter sports games begin on 10/29. Adult and student volunteers are needed and new volunteers will receive training during their first shift, sign up here!
Check out the Les Bois PTO website and follow us on instagram Les Bois PTO on Instagram for volunteer opportunities and frequent updates of the wonderful things the PTO is doing at Les Bois.
LBJH FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCT DRIVE
Parents, we need your help!
We are organizing a parent-led feminine hygiene product drive. Feminine hygiene products are not supplied by the district, and our health office could use extra supplies. Goods donated will go to the nurse to supply our students with needed products each month.
This is an ongoing need, and we are hoping to build a supply to last through the end of the year and hopefully beyond.
To help, please click on the link: LBJH Amazon Wish List to view and purchase items. All items will go directly to Les Bois and will be given to the nurse. If you would like to drop off products, you may do so by leaving them at the front office.
Please let us know if you have any questions and thank you for supporting our school.
Sincerely,
LBJH PTO
