JUST US FOR ALL

Culture shapes our understanding of the world around us. There has never been a movement for social change that did not include art. Join us in the creative space of theatre, as we create a new play that expresses our values and inspires our imaginations.

Fostered in a safe space for creative exploration, Just Us For All will center members of the Lehigh community who are passionate about their future, and committed to speaking truth to power against racial injustice.

Under the shared leadership of Lehigh University co-directors Kashi Johnson and Mark McKenna, and Case Western University Director Chris Bohan. The cast and creative team will create this new original work...from the ground up!

Answer the following 15 prompts with truth, detail and authenticity:

DO

• Read your answers out loud, stating the prompt at the start of each new idea.
• Rehearse standing up. You will be asked to stand when you share this in your audition.
• Consider performing some of your answers instead of simply answering directly. (Do you sing? Dance? Rap? Act? Draw? Play an instrument? Have a unique talent/ability? Don't tell us about it. SHOW US! (This performance suggestion is not mandatory.)
• Answer all 15 prompts.

DON'T

• Stop and talk to us in between the prompts. Rehearse and present this as one full piece. Make it fluid.
• Limit yourself. We want to get to know who you are and how you see the world. The more detail and insight you share in your responses, the better sense we will have of how you fit in this project.
