MKS 2024 in Review!
Happy New Year to all of our Families & Students!
With the New Year comes the opportunity to look ahead, make resolutions for the future, and also take a moment to look back at what went well in the past year. It is a blessing to see what God has done and continues to do in and through our community here at MKS.
2024 HIGHLIGHTS
- Winter Sleep-Under: It is one of our goals to provide opportunities for our students to connect and develop friendships inside and outside of class. The Winter Sleep-Under each January is always a fun time with the dancers!
- Kingdom Dancers Ministry Company: We are always blessed by our dance ministry dancers as they go out into the community and beyond, sharing God's message of HOPE! Super work, dancers!
- Blessing Project: Last Spring, student choreographers and dancers had the opportunity to share their work at a women's ministry conference and this season are currently preparing for the "Everyday Abolitionists" Jan 11 program that will shine a light on the darkness known as human trafficking.
- Dance Concert: Students were able to share their gifts and talents with family and friends as we celebrated the VICTORY & Freedom we have in Christ! Also, being at a new facility, we really appreciated the improved front of auditorium benefits of state of the art technical options and learned a lot of lessons about the amount of space we need backstage. We are thankful for everyone's compassion as we learn and continue to strive to improve our processes to provide better experiences for our families in the future.
- Family Fun Festival: It is always a great time playing games, making crafts, watching the Kingdom Dancers and more at our annual Family Fun Festival in October!
- Collections for Joy in Haiti & Operation Backpack: Contributing to these ministries is always a blessing, and we are thankful for the generosity of our students & families!
- Guiding Lights: It is so amazing to see our student Assistants and Apprentices grow in their leadership skills and teaching abilities in our newly launched program!
We have had a lot of fun and continue to seek God for what He has for us in the year ahead! Thanks for being a part of the MKS family!

WHAT'S HAPPENING!
COSTUMES - Pictures of costumes for all the classes will be displayed on the boards in the lobby later this month! We work very hard to choose costumes that are appropriate and match the style of the song & routine and are excited to share those with our students & families!
FINALE FOR IGNITE/GLOW/ILLUMINATE/AURORA 3 & 4 DANCERS - Please be on the lookout for more information soon about the Finale Dance!
