CPS Parent Update

We hope everyone had a restful Thanksgiving Weekend. It is hard to believe that we have three weeks leading up to our holiday break. If your family is planning on taking and extended leave, it is important for you to notify our front office ahead of time. Please email manningr@npsk.org. You will be asked to fill out our extended leave form. Our trimester 1 ends this Friday, December 6th. This will cause all students to start fresh in the area of tardiness. We value attendance and the importance of being on time to school. We thank you all for working to get your students to school on time, we know it isn't always easy. Our winter sports start this week, see below for more information.

Wednesday, December 4th CPS Band and Chorus Concert 7pm

Friday, December 6th Trimester 1 Ends

Monday, December 9th CPS Winter Sports Begin

Wednesday, December 11th Half Day Parent/Teacher Conferences

Saturday, December 21st Holiday Break Begins

Monday, January 6th Return from Holiday Break

Hi all, winter season is here! Boys and Girls bball try-outs start Monday (12/2)! You must be registered on Arbiter Sports to participate! There are potential for cuts in both programs, we will know more based on actual numbers on Monday. This will be communicated out ASAP.

Girls - 3:00-4:30pm - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Teams will be announced on Friday

*Girls, please do not enter the gym until 3pm. This being said, we're also asking please do not linger in the hallways or lobby of CPS before practice. Use this time to check in with teachers or use the library to get some work done!

Boys - 5:00-6:30pm - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Teams will be announced on Friday

*Boys, please do not enter the gym until 5pm

Please arrive ready to play! Sneakers, water, athletic clothing, etc.
