End of Year Reflections
It’s hard to believe that we are approaching the end of the school year! Our hallways are bustling as students and teachers wrap up lessons and get ready for exams!
This is a good time to slow down and reflect on our blessings and our challenges. Once again, we have had a very full school year. We’ve come together to learn and grow, meet new friends while also enjoying lasting relationships… many that even span pre-K through grade 8! Most importantly, we have come together in prayer for one another. Our students and faculty have shared happy events, such as our recent First Communion and upcoming Graduation Mass, and we have supported each other through difficult times. Even now, intentions continue to be added to our prayer box. Students will often ask me to include someone in their family as we gather in the gym each morning to start our school day in prayer.
As our school year comes to a close over these next few weeks, I ask that you, our parish family, join us in prayer for these intentions, now and throughout the summer. Please pray for our students and faculty, and for our graduates, the Class of 2019, that they may use their gifts wisely and walk into the future with faith, hope, and great love.
As always, Thank You for your support of Father John V. Doyle School!

Enrollment Referral Incentive is still available!
In an effort to increase enrollment at Father John V. Doyle School, and to reward existing families for their efforts in promoting our school, an Enrollment Referral Incentive is available!
- Any current student’s family whose outreach and referral efforts result in a new family enrolling their child(ren) at FJVD in grades K-8 for the 2019- 2020 school year will receive a one-time tuition credit of $500 towards tuition for the 2019-2020 school year.
Program Conditions:
A parent/guardian from the referring family must:
- complete and sign the referral form below to initiate the referral process.
The prospective family must:
- have had no previous contact with the school regarding enrollment prior to the initiation of the referral process (retroactive referrals will not be accepted),
- not be currently enrolled in our school’s pre-K, and
- meet admission requirements as described on our website (https://fjvd.org/admissions).
The referral credit for the referring family will be applied to tuition for the 2019-2020 school year if:
- the new family’s child has continued to be enrolled in the school for a minimum of four months.
If two or more families refer the same new family, the referral credit will be divided equally among the referring families.

Why: To support the Ronald McDonald House in Providence
How can I help? Send in as little or as many can tabs as you have to Mr. Godin’s Room
Bottle Cap Drive
We’re excited to share that our school is part of the Coca-Cola Give program. This opens up Father John V. Doyle School to new funding opportunities to help improve learning environments for students. The best part? Donations don’t come out of your own pocket. When you make Coca-Cola purchases, you simply send in bottle caps or product codes from boxes of beverages and our school receives a donation. We have already received one check for almost $50 with low key promotion. Now it’s time to “kick it up a notch.”
All caps and codes should be sent to Mr. Godin. Codes will be entered on one account to gain larger and quicker donations.
Thank you!
