Cole Manor Winter Performance

Elmwood Park Zoo

Dear Cole Manor Families,

We hope that you are doing well and having a great start to the fall season! The music department is excited to share that Cole Manor has been invite to perform at the Elmwood Park Zoo on December 6th. 40 members of the Grade 4 Chorus will join Dr. Speicher at the zoo to perform holiday songs (students will be chosen based on a lottery and families will need to provide transportation to EPZ). Students participating will be asked to arrive to the zoo by 6:15 PM and gather at the performance area at 6:30 PM. The performance will begin at 7 PM. Students are welcome to come before 6:15 and stay after the show with their guardians to enjoy the lights and the zoo. All students must be accompanied by a parent / guardian. Invitations will be sent out in November to allow families to RSVP and confirm that they can transport their child to the zoo.

In the interim, we are also excited to share that all students in Grade 4 chorus will take part in a district sing along (information forthcoming) as well as a school sing along for the holidays. We are asking that Grade 4 students begin to practice the holiday songs listed in this newsletter. There are YouTube videos and also lyrics included in this newsletter to help with the at home practice. We are excited to partner with Elmwood Park Zoo this holiday season and thank you in advance for helping to prepare the students!
