APRIL 2025 NEWSLETTER
Rayburn Elementary
Happy April Rayburn Community!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we step into the month of April, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible progress our students have made this school year. It's hard to believe that we are approaching the final stretch of the academic year!
I want to send a great SHOUT OUT of appreciation to all parents and families as we dealt with the severe weather on Thursday, March 27th. Everyone was patient and understanding as we worked to get students home safely. Thank you so much for your support, it truly helped us do our job successfully!
April is a month filled with growth and renewal, both in nature and in our classrooms. This is the perfect time to encourage our students to embrace new challenges and continue to strive for their personal best.
Upcoming Events:
- STAAR for 3rd-5th Graders: Please help your child be set for success by being here early on STAAR days and getting a good nights rest the day before assessments.
- Parent-Teacher Conferences: Make sure you have taken time to connect with your child's teacher to review their progress and celebrate achievements.
- The Great American Clean Up: On April 12th we will be we will be engaging in various activities to promote environmental awareness and stewardship. We will be having students and parents volunteer to clean up and beautify our school grounds.
I encourage you to take some time this month to talk with your children about their goals and aspirations. It’s important for them to feel supported in their endeavors, both academically and personally.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we can make this a fantastic month for our students!
Warm regards,
Clarissa Partida
Rayburn Elementary Principal
