Looking for a book? Destiny Discover is where you will find our learning commons collections catalog online. Here you can search books by title, author, keyword, and subject. Be sure to spell the title or author correctly, or the catalog will not recognize your search. You can also view "recently added" items on the first display line after logging in. See if a book is available and find the call number for the book so you know where to locate it in the learning commons. We collaborate with the academic community to help libraries connect students and faculty to vital content while lowering costs and increasing shelf space, provide independent researchers with free and low-cost access to scholarship, and help publishers reach new audiences and preserve their content for future generations. JSTOR offers users the ability to REGISTER for an account, which then allows them to save their resources, create and organize folders, and add notes.

From student favorites like Gale’s In Context suite to our flagship InfoTrac databases, we offer dozens of powerful research platforms to put vetted sources right at your users’ fingertips. Gale offers unique tools to help users organize their research with easy integration with Google Drive & Google Classroom. Users are able to use highlighting, note-taking, and citation tools within the Gale interface & send them directly to Google Drive.

Today, we offer traditional print products, e-books, and online databases designed for use at public, school, and college libraries. We continue in our effort to provide quality reference resources that respond to the needs of the library community. EBSCOhost is an intuitive online research platform used by thousands of institutions and millions of users worldwide. With quality databases and search features, EBSCOhost helps researchers of all kinds find the information they need fast. EBSCohost offers unique tools to help users organize their research with easy integration with Google Drive. Users are able to use highlighting, note-taking, and citation tools within the EBSCOhost interface & send them directly to Google Drive.

Once you login to Britannica School through Classlink, you will see an option to "sign in." By clicking this, you will then see the option to "create an account." If you create a personal account with your district email, you can utilize the "my content" folder creation and saving functions, the "lesson plans" saving function, and the "Creating Resource Packs" function.

Resource packs are a way to collect & organize Britannica School content around any topic of your choice. You can use them to support classroom discussions, or as starting points for research or inquiry projects.There is a "lesson browse" option that allows you to narrow your search by grade level & subject matter. Britannica School includes resources on biographies, world atlas', media browsing, and primary source content, as well as an "On this Day in History" section.

Britannica Image Quest offers over a MILLION rights-cleared images, including ClipArt. This database has ideas for projects that use images to convey learning and to promote critical thinking. You can also create a personal account (account will carry over from a Britannica School account) and create folders, take notes on selected images, and has several search functions to narrow your results to just what you are looking for. By clicking on an image, you can also get a snapshot of what the image is and its history.

Older students can turn to Britannica Moderna, with more than 47,000 articles plus about 8,000 images. Complete with a dictionary and atlas, Moderna’s new features now make it more valuable than ever for native Spanish speakers, bilingual students, and students learning Spanish. Britannica Moderna has been re-designed with a fresh and engaging new user interface; improved search capabilities; and a cleaner overall design. And now, like all other Britannica resources, it has a “responsive design” to provide an optimal viewing experience across a wide range of devices.

ProCon.org, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit nonpartisan public charity, provides professionally-researched pro, con, and related information on more than 50 controversial issues from gun control and death penalty to illegal immigration and alternative energy. Using the fair, FREE, and unbiased resources at ProCon.org, millions of people each year learn new facts, think critically about both sides of important issues, and strengthen their minds and opinions.
