Digital Equity In Rhode Island
Share with your community to gather input
Make Sure Your Community Is Represented in the Future of Digital Equity
Background
ConnectRI, through RI Commerce Corporation has been working with statewide stakeholders to develop a plan for increasing digital equity across the state with incoming federal dollars through the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program. Now, the group is collecting public feedback on the current state of broadband/internet access to further develop the plan and its rollout and ensure equitable internet access is achieved.
Libraries are imperative in spreading the information for public comment to ensure that everyone across the state is included and receives adequate internet connectivity through this programming. See what you can do below.

Host Digitunity to Collect Surveys in Person
Are you hosting or participating in an event where you expect a large section of your community will be present? Karisa at Digitunity would love to come out and connect with people in person to collect survey results (digital and physical surveys are available in English and Spanish).
Karisa can also come table at libraries depending on capacity.
