What a great turn out we had at Open House! It's always so nice to see how proud our students and teachers are to show families all their hard work. We hope you enjoyed your visit.

Thank you to all of our parent volunteers who came to our 1st Volunteer Tea. We had a great turn out and loved getting to celebrate you! Thank you for volunteering inside and outside of our classrooms. We appreciate you all so much!

We are excited to celebrate our promoting 5th graders. We wish you all the best at Middle School next year. We hope your time in elementary school has been memorable and you will continue to build upon the solid foundations you have worked hard to build. Good luck!

Next week we will honor our Classified staff. This includes our custodial team, our para educators, our librarian and our office staff. We are lucky to have such a dedicated team!

This will be our last newsletter of the school year. This summer, please continue to read with your children, talk together, play board games, be creative, and play outside. Try to limit the screen time as much as possible. The time spent together is precious.

The office will be closed beginning 6/5/24 through the summer. We will open in early August and you will start to see information on the marquee and via email for information regarding the start of the 24/25 school year.

Fremont Unified will transition from Infinite Campus to Aeries as our student information system for the 2024-25 school year. In July 2024, parents and guardians of students enrolled for 2024-25 will receive information to activate their Aeries Parent Portal, and will use the Portal to complete the annual MAZE process, called “Parent Data Confirmation” in Aeries.

MAZE is Fremont Unified School District’s annual data confirmation process in which parents/guardians:

• provide required information for each enrolled student - such as emergency contacts,

• acknowledge certain parent/guardian and student rights and responsibilities, and

• access specific school forms/information.

Completing the MAZE process ensures your student’s school has accurate information, and allows families to view student schedules/classroom assignments and their teachers when that information is released in August.

Please look out for additional information about activating your Aeries Parent Portal and completing the MAZE process in the coming months.

Portal de padres Aeries y proceso MAZE 2024-25

Fremont Unified hará la transición de Infinite Campus a Aeries como nuestro sistema de información estudiantil para el año escolar 2024-25.

En julio de 2024, los padres y tutores de los estudiantes matriculados para 2024-25 recibirán información para activar su Portal de Padres Aeries, y utilizarán el Portal para completar el proceso anual MAZE, llamado "Confirmación de Datos de Padres" en Aeries.

MAZE es el proceso de confirmación de registro anual del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Fremont en el que los padres/tutores:

• proporcionan la información requerida para cada estudiante inscrito, como contactos de emergencia y prueba de residencia actual,

• reconocen ciertos derechos y responsabilidades de los padres/tutores y estudiantes, y

• acceden a formularios/información específicos de la escuela.

We have so many students who have reclassified from an English Learner to Fluent English Proficient! We will be celebrating these students and invite parents to attend as well. Students (and their parents) who are being reclassified will be invited to attend from Mrs. Hamilton, ELD Specialist. Join us on Friday, 5/24/24 at 8:20 a.m. in the MUR. Congratulations!

The 5th Grade Promotion will be held on Thursday, May 30th at 8:30 a.m. in the MUR. Please see details for promotion here.

Unfortunately, we do NOT have any visitor parking spots. All visitor parking is on the street. If you park in a parking spot in the parking lot (even if only for a minute) you are taking a staff member's parking spot preventing them to get to class on time and students left unsupervised. Please DO NOT park in the parking lot except after school hours. Thank you for your help and understanding.

Do you have a few hours a day to help with supervision during lunch? We are currently hiring or accepting volunteers to help with this duty. Noon Supervision includes: monitoring students on the playground or lunch area, helping with minor conflicts as they arise, and ensuring students are staying within the school grounds and play areas. No experience necessary, we only ask that you love kids and enjoy being outside. The days/times: M,T,Th,F: 11:00-1:40 p.m. W: 11-1:10
