1. Continue to improve First Teach/Tier 1 instruction so that every pony can make at least one year’s academic growth.
2. Meet the academic and social emotional needs of every child by providing them with the intervention/acceleration they need.

2024 STAAR Test Dates
Removal of students from class
Please do not send students to the office for any reason. If we need students in the office we will call for them. Students must have a pass from you or a referral to come to the office, or they will be sent back. Students should not be released from class until the end of the class, unless it is an emergency or an office request has been made (release for schedule change, phone use, etc. should not be permitted)
Non-Approved Electronic Devices
Use of non-approved electronic devices is prohibited in the building the instructional day. All electronic devices will be turned over to an assistant principal or principal's secretary along with a completed Confiscated Property Control Form (available in the office). Electronic devices will only be released. after school . A fee of $15 will be charged for the return of the device on the second time if it is confiscated and each time thereafter.

Students are expected to follow uniform dress code.

All PK-8th teachers are to pick up students no later than 7:35.
Teacher workday begins at 7:30 and 5 minutes are provided to allow for student pick up from designated locations.
Lunch: 10 minutes are embedded to allow for transition time. 30 minute lunch time
Thank you for your help with getting students back in class and ready for instruction.
*Please refrain from taking students to lunch early
*Please be available to pick up students during the embedded transition time. Goal to be back in class ready to begin instruction.
6th-8th – Please help open the locker bay area doors. This helps transition students to their classroom and ready to begin their 6th period on time.
Dismissal: All hands-on deck until 3:10! All teachers and staff are to support during dismissal procedures.
Monday Meetings: Late pick up students - Please drop off students in the Community Room to allow you to arrive on time to Monday meetings. Do not hesitate to reach out if we can help in any way.
PK-5th - Actively monitor and help students reunite with parents.
6th - 8th - All staff are required to dismiss students. Actively monitor hallway, locker bay area and field.
Park Gate:
Park gate will no longer be opened after school. 6th - 8th grade students will exit the same door they entered in the morning.

When requesting a substitute on TEAMS, please include the following information.
Start Time: 7:15
End Time: 3:15
Half Day Entry: (7:15 11:30) (11:30-3:30)
Our goal is to provide substitutes with ample time to join your classroom.
When substitutes arrive, they need to clock in, sign in, be provided with safety protocol, map, etc. We appreciate your support in ensuring that you make this adjustment when requesting a substitute.
