Nurse Notes
Kindergarten students are required to have a dental, vision, and physical exams before starting school. Please send those records to the school or make an appointment if you have not done so already.
Please pack extra clothes for younger grade students in case of an accident or spills.
Vision/hearing referrals have and still will be sent out. These must be addressed and returned to the school. If vision appointments are made, please call the school and let the nurse know.
Ensure that required immunizations are current and consider the annual flu vaccine before the return of school in January.
Teach your child the importance of handwashing and refrain from touching their eyes, nose, and mouth.
Remember students need to be fever free without medication for 24 hours prior to coming back to school.
If your child is sick or has a temperature of 100.4 degrees, please keep them home. Contact the school office to let us know.
Make your child's health concerns known to the school nurse. Also, notify the school nurse if any new health issue arises with your child during the school year.
Bring current, signed healthcare provider orders for treatments and all medications to be given at school. All medications must be brought in by the parent/guardian and must be in the original container.
All medication to be given at school must have a signed consent form. This includes cough drops.

National School Breakfast Week
- The Mysterious Case of the Donut Caper
- Friday's donuts have gone missing! Will our students be able to find the clues left behind to help our cafeteria staff locate the donuts in time for breakfast on Friday?
- Clues will be hidden in the cafeteria each morning Monday-Thursday for our Super Sleuth Students to find.
- Clues can be redeemed for a la carte snack credit. How it works: students should submit their found clues to the cafeteria cashier, who will make a note of the lucky students' names. At lunch time, those students will be able to choose a snack of their choice.
- After a week of searching out clues, Friday's donuts will be found and we will enjoy our sweet treat for breakfast.
- Daily Giveaways
- We will have a small trinket for our breakfast participants each day. These are available for all students while supplies last. We will do our best to have enough for all who come to breakfast.
- Monday- Scented Bookmark
- Tuesday- "Nutrition Detective" Silly Glasses
- Wednesday- Hidden Picture Decoder Card
- Thursday- Mini Activity/Coloring Book
- Friday- "Case Solved" Wristband
