Parenting Tips Calendar and Activity Books
The Department of Family and Protective Services’ Prevention and Early Intervention Division is offering two free resources for parents and professionals: the 2020 Parenting Tips Calendar and the Activity Book for Kids. The Activity Book for Kids is filled with helpful tips for parents and caregivers of children of all ages. The calendar is available to all Texas youth and family service organizations. Order the calendar while supplies last. Calendars are shipped in quantities of 100 calendars per box. Visit the website to download the guide and to order the calendar.

Claudia I. Vargas is from San Antonio, TX. Having more than 20 years’ experience, her work has focused on enhancing Bilingual/ESL programs, instruction and leadership. She is proud to be bilingual, bicultural and biliterate. Having attended San Antonio ISD's public schools, Claudia graduated from Lanier HS as Valedictorian. She got her B.A. in Latino Studies from Dartmouth College and later her Master’s in Educational Leadership from UTSA. Her passion lies in educating our future generations and ensuring that ALL students receive equitable access to the educational system. She brings these strengths to continue growing the understanding that our educational communities must empower our families to empower our students!
