Natalie Champine - Senior, Varsity Basketball

A 4-year varsity player, Natalie was a key part of the Trojans’ 19 win season this year. Last week in the District Semifinal against Lutheran North, Natalie sparked a 15-1 first half lead with 8 points during the Trojans’ run. Her defense and rebounding down the stretch helped Clawson come away with a 36-32 overtime win and a chance to play for a District championship.

Caleb Lee - Junior, Varsity Swim and Dive

Caleb, a 3-year varsity swimmer for the combined Clawson-Lamphere team, won four medals at the MAC championships last week. He captured first place in the 100 free with his season best time of 54.59, and finished 4th in the 100 breaststroke. Caleb was also part of the 2nd place 400 free relay team and the 3rd place 200 free relay team.

Our Boys Lacrosse Co-op Team have started Pre-Season Weight Room Workouts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7pm in the Bishop Foley weight room. The season officially starts on Monday, March 14th. All practices and home games will be at Bishop Foley.

Make sure you have a current SPORTS PHYSICAL on file and active PLANETHS account (details below)! Spring Sports offered at CMS include - please complete the interest form if you are interested in participating:

• MS Track and Field Interest Form - open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders

• MS Softball Interest Form - open to 7th and 8th graders only

• MS Baseball Interest Form - open to 7th and 8th graders only
• MS Swim and Dive Interest Form - open to 6th, 7th and 8th graders

Our MS Swim team swims with Page MS at Lamphere HS. There will be a MS Swim Parent Meeting on Wednesday March 16th at Lamphere's Pool at 6:oo pm

Practice starts Monday March 21st and will be Mon-Thur 3:00-5:15 pm

All 8th grade boys interested in playing High School soccer next fall as a 9th grader - please come to a quick meet and greet on Wednesday March 16 during Seminar class in the MS Media Center. The high school boys will be there to introduce themselves and tell you about the boys soccer program. Don't miss out if you want to be a part of a successful program!!

All student-athletes in High School and Middle School must have the following in order to participate in athletics at CHS and CMS:

1. Current Physical (dated on or after April 15, 2021)
2. PlanetHS.com account (click here for video on how to do this)
3. Athlete Code of Conduct (on PlanetHS.com)
4. Pay to Participate
