Mrs. Schrimpf's News
Dear IC Families,
As the school year draws to a close, I am grateful for the many blessings we’ve experienced together. This year has been one of growth—academically, spiritually, and as a community. I am proud of our students for their accomplishments, inspired by our teachers’ dedication, and thankful for the ongoing support of our families.
As we reflect on this year’s theme, Anchored in Christ, I am reminded that even as routines shift and summer begins, our faith remains our foundation. I encourage all our families to continue to attend Mass during the summer months. Our relationship with Christ and our connection to the parish do not take a vacation—our presence at Sunday Mass matters, and it’s a gift we give our children by modeling consistency in our faith.
May is a particularly special month for our Catholic community as we honor the Blessed Virgin Mary. This year it will again be a part of the Farewell Mass on May 2nd. I encourage your families to deepen your devotion to her through prayer, reflection, and acts of kindness.
Looking ahead, our school community is entering an exciting chapter as we move forward with the capital campaign and plans for a new school building. This is a significant and hopeful step for the future of Catholic education in our parish. I ask for your continued prayers and support as we work together to build not just a structure, but a legacy for generations to come.
Thank you for a wonderful year. May your summer be filled with rest, family, fun, and the peace that comes from Christ at the center of all we do.
God bless,
Mrs. Schrimpf

Food for Thought
My friends, as we mourn the loss of our beloved Pope Francis . . . who truly was a prophet for our time, let us ponder his wisdom:
“Rivers do not drink their own water; trees do not eat their own fruit; the sun does not shine on itself and flowers do not spread their fragrance for themselves. Living for others is a rule of nature. We are all born to help each other. No matter how difficult it is … life is good when you are happy, but much better when others are happy because of you.” - Pope Francis
Let us try to live the wisdom expressed here, and let us teach our children well.

Nurse's Notes and Reminders
Help Nurse Debbie get a jump on 2025-2026 school year! Many of our 7th graders have already received the immunizations that they need for admittance into 8th grade. As Nurse Debbie begins to communicate with 7th grade families about needed immunizations, having updated records for each student will help her tailor her communications. Feel free to send your student's most updated immunization records so that Nurse Debbie can determine what immunizations are needed for your student to be in attendance 2025-2026 school year.
