Here is to a great February filled with great rehearsals, performances, and music. As we begin the month, please review the following announcements.
General Music Survey
Today is the last day to complete the General Music Survey regarding the 2027 Headliner. If you teach general music, please take a few minutes and submit your vote today.
Outstanding Invoices
Invoices for outstanding fees were sent last week. Please check your email and submit them for payment. As of today there are still the following number of invoices outstanding:
- 23 schools - outstanding audition fees
- 29 schools - outstanding participation fees
- 20 members - outstanding conference fees
- 4 school district - outstanding conference fees
NAfME Vote
Have you voted yet? Don’t miss your chance to participate in the NAfME Southwestern Division President election. Exciting news - New Mexico has a candidate! Make your voice heard and vote for Joseph!
You should have received an email last month with instructions on how to access the ballot. Be sure to complete the final step by clicking "submit." If you are a member and did not receive a ballot, please contact Kim Henry at kimh@nafme.org.

MPA Rubrics
The NMMEA Board of Directors has approved revised MPA rubrics which can now be found on the website (link). This rubric is to be used this spring.
