Patterson Students and Staff are Champions!
Hello Students and Families!
The first full week of school in the burrow was a success!
We celebrated our students for following the Patterson Expectations by doing our first "Out of the Blue" ticket pull. Students were able to come to the office and get a prize if their ticket was pulled. As a school, we are trying to fill our school wide container by the end of first quarter so we can earn a school wide reward.
We ended the week with our "Opening Ceremony" Assembly today! The students learned about our theme for the school year: Be a Champion, Go for Gold! Our 5th graders explained that being a champion in the burrow means trying your best each day, working hard, and following all of our Patterson Expectations of Being Safe, Respectful, and Responsible.
Way to go Prairie Dogs!

It is also important to help ensure your child get's a good night's rest and eats a healthy breakfast, lunch, or snack. Encourage your child to do their best!

Patterson Chorus Information
Chorus is open to all students in fourth and fifth grade. We are hoping for an excellent turnout this year!! Chorus is the perfect option for any student considering a performance ensemble in middle or high school (band, orchestra, or chorus). Essential skills such as music literacy, ear training, ensemble balance, expression, diction, communication, and creative problem solving are primary focuses. These skills will well prepare your children for future performance experiences.
Chorus will rehearse in the Gym every MONDAY from 8:00-8:50 AM. Our first rehearsal is on MONDAY September 16. Drop-off is at the Front Car Drop-Off and then enter Door 2. Door 2 opens at 7:55, and closes at 8:05. Please do NOT drop off your child prior to this time as there will not be supervision. If your student arrives at 8:05 AM or later and Door #2 is closed, students should come to the front main doors to be buzzed in by office staff. Students are encouraged to carpool to rehearsals.

Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
The safety of our Patterson students, staff, and families is an upmost priority to our team. During meet and greet, each teacher will have a form for parents/guardians to notify your child's teacher and our office team how your child will be dismissed each day. Please make sure to complete this form when visiting your child's classroom.
Staff will be present at all entrances being used for arrival and dismissal to supervise students.
