Local ski resorts are open already as I write. What?!! That's certainly earlier than last year. Weather experts say we're in for a big Winter. That means lots of "snow days" when schools close due to slick unplowed roads dangerous or impossible for school buses to negotiate. Me? I will be otherwise engaged. Let me tell you.... 🧦,

Since the release of the interviews, I have been flooded with emails. Some just express thanks, some also want to talk about becoming a missionary or other pretty deep stuff. I help if I can, and what a joy it is! As I write this, I haven't opened all the emails yet, and am looking forward to more talks. How wonderful current technology can be! I just turned 78 with Post-Polio Syndrome which for me means accelerated aging due to what the huge original Polio whammy took away. But I'm out-living the expected and I'm having a ball serving the Lord in surprising ways these extra years. Cool!! 💥

• Remember? In one of my last letters I said that I was looking for someone to take over from me the writing and producing of GC Kids. As my body and energy weaken, I am needing more energy time to respond to the "email floods" I mentioned above. I love being an encourager, especially in a world where it has become dangerous to be vulnerable.
• Ta-da! A young woman who has all the skills has offered to do it. The transition will be in small steps as she gets ahold of the publication's personality and learns more about missions world-wide. And just think -- this will guarantee that GC Kids will out-last me!

One couple above recently landed for the first time on the island where they will do their work for the Lord. The other couple is not headed to a distant land - their heart is to increase and strengthen the church in the U.S., including increasing the knowledge of God's heart for the world. Did you know that Washington State and Alaska are the most unevangelized in the U.S..?

The other regulars of our group are a joy to see each month also, and to chat with about God's great commission to us. All of us, His people.
