Meet The Raiders
Dallas Skyline is one of the most improved football teams in the Metroplex.
The Longhorns have defeated the Raiders twice since Skyline joined District 6A-11 in 2022.
But Skyline (2-1) has earned a couple of victories over teams that reached the playoffs last season -- a 21-7 win over North Forney and a 31-0 win over Crowley.
It was the Raiders' first shutout since 2018.
Their only loss was a 28-14 setback against Fort Bend Marshall, a perennial power in the Houston area. In that game, the Raiders led 14-13 going into the fourth quarter.
Skyline quarterback Donte Ware finished with 192 yards and two touchdowns, and running back Tyreke Cockraft added 120 yards and two scores in the win over Crowley. Receiver Delvin Cook caught four passes for 46 yards and two touchdowns.
