It's time to start thinking about Kindergarten 2025!

We are so excited to talk with you about our Kindergarten options in Cambridge-Isanti Schools. We recognize that you have choices, so we want to provide information and experiences to help you make the best choice for your Kindergartener. You're invited to visit our schools, meet our wonderful, caring teachers, and get all of your questions answered before enrolling your child in kindergarten for next fall.

Cambridge-Isanti Schools offer several options to support the needs of different students.

1. Choose your neighborhood school - Cambridge or Isanti Primary.

2. C-I STEAM School with an innovative science, math and technology focus.

3. C-I Schools Online for a more flexible, learn from home option.

Kindergarten Information Nights (for adults in your family) are an opportunity to meet our principals and have all of your kindergarten questions answered. These events also provide a great opportunity to connect with other parents/guardians. If you're unable to attend, we will post a link to the information slides after the meeting on our Kindergarten webpage.

In spring each year, we invite our future kindergarten students to visit school and meet our teachers, tour a kindergarten classroom and even check out a school bus. Plan to attend with your child. This is a great opportunity for your student to become familiar with their new school to support a smooth transition into Kindergarten.

Go to the Cambridge Isanti Enrollment page and navigate to the enrollment area that pertains to your family. This process is best completed on a computer or tablet. The application is not phone friendly. Don't have a computer, or need assistance? We're here to help! Just drop in at your school or the district office and our friendly team can assist you.

Enrollment is open throughout the school year. If you have enrolled elsewhere, and your situation changes, we are always here for you. Just follow the steps above to enroll.

Families who live beyond our Cambridge-Isanti School District borders will need to complete a state Open Enrollment Form in order for their student to attend school in the Cambridge-Isanti District. Please return the form as soon as possible by uploading it in your enrollment application or via email to cienrollment@c-ischools.org

If you have friends or family who have a child turning age 5, please share this information with them. Cambridge-Isanti Schools offers tuition-free, full-day kindergarten options open to all children who will turn age 5 by September 1.
