Augusta University will teach two classes at EHS beginning in January. Juniors and seniors who are interested in one or both of the classes should talk to their EHS counselor about registering. This is an awesome opportunity for students to earn college credit without ever leaving our campus!

Seniors and parents, we anticipate the FAFSA opening on December 1st. In the meantime, you can complete the steps below to prepare to complete your FAFSA as soon as it opens.

• Go to studentaid.gov
• Click "Create an Account" in the top right corner
• Create a username and password
• Complete the demographic information, challenge questions, etc.
• Verify your phone number and email address when prompted
• Wait three days for your Social Security Number to process in the system

You can also complete the GSFAPP at https://www.gafutures.org/checs/studentapp. The GSFAPP is an application for:

• HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarship
• HOPE and Zell Miller Grant
• Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant (GTEG)
• IPSE Grant

The GSFAPP takes less than 15 minutes to complete and is good for 10 years.

On Monday, November 18th, students in 9th, 10th, and 11th grades will receive course request forms for the 2025/26 school year. All course requests are due by Thursday, November 21st, no exceptions! Please review the information below and contact your current EHS counselor with any questions.
