Staff Changes
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, I want to inform you of some important staff changes that will be taking place. We believe these changes will enhance our ability to provide a high-quality educational experience for your children.
I am pleased to announce that Ms. Yanchik will be moving to 4th grade to teach Math. Mrs. Dobson will continue to teach our 4th graders but will now focus solely on Science. Mrs. Floodstrom will be transitioning to 5th grade to teach ELA. We believe these changes will drive meaningful progress at Elroy.
Mrs. Brutscher, Ms. Rosselle, and Mrs. Ailes, who have been invaluable members of our team, will be taking on new roles at Moore Elementary. Mrs. Brutscher will be the new K-2 Learning Support Teacher, while Mrs. Rosselle and Mrs. Ailes will serve as ESL teachers. We are excited about the contributions they will continue to make in their new capacities.
Additionally, we welcome a new school counselor who will be at Elroy daily. Ms. Mucci will be an excellent addition to our Elroy family. We are also welcoming two new paraprofessionals to our building. Mrs. Kirby, who many of your students know from her role as one of our building substitutes last year, and Ms. Mileo, who was a student teacher here at Elroy previous year, will be joining our team. The addition of these two outstanding educators will greatly benefit all of our students for years to come.
We also bid farewell to Mrs. Nicholas, who has decided to retire. We extend our heartfelt thanks to her for her unwavering dedication and invaluable contributions to our school. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
These changes, while significant, are made with our students' best interests in mind. Our commitment to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment remains steadfast, and we are excited about the new perspectives and skills that our staff will bring to their roles.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns about these changes. We appreciate your support and understanding as we transition into the new school year with these exciting developments
