Here are a few brief updates for OES parents:
1) 🤠💝 Boots and Beauties - Daddy/Daughter Dance 💝🤠
On Thursday, February 6, 2025, OES PTA will host the annual Boots and Beauties Daddy/Daughter Dance at the Olmito Elementary Cafeteria from 5:30-7:00 PM. Ticket sales end on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. See the flyer below for pricing and details. We look forward to celebrating this special evening with our OES families!
2) 🥞🍳🥓 February Attendance Challenge - Breakfast Incentive 🥓🍳🥞
For February, we are bringing back the exciting attendance challenge! Each day, the grade level with the highest attendance percentage will earn a heart on the main hallway bulletin board. The grade with the highest overall attendance at the end of the month will win a catered breakfast from the Child Nutrition Department. Let’s work together to keep attendance strong! Remember: Attendance = Growth!
3) 💞 Counselor Appreciation Week 💞
From February 3-7, 2025, we celebrate National Counselor Appreciation Week! A big thank you to Mrs. Salamat and Mrs. Peralta for all they do to support our students at OES. We are grateful for their hard work and dedication!
4) 📚 Scholastic Book Fair 📚
The Scholastic Book Fair will be at OES from February 10-14, 2025. We can’t wait to see our OES students and families browsing and enjoying the fair. Start planning your visit!
5) 🤠💖 Rodeo Week at OES 💖🤠
LFCISD Rodeo Week is almost here! Be sure to check the flyer below for dress-up dates. On Friday, February 14, 2025, we’ll have a full day of rodeo activities for our students. Yee haw!
