This morning, our Governor Winslow School Community enjoyed our second graders' performance of "Celebrations". Thanks to the outstanding efforts of our teachers and students, holiday spirit filled the air throughout the building all week long. On behalf of all staff members at GWS, we wish you and your families a very merry Christmas and a wonderful new year!

GWS Gives Back

Our students and staff gave back to our community this month by collecting money and non- perishable items for the Marshfield Food Pantry and Community Christmas. We also donated many coats to the "Coats for Kids" drive. Thank you so much to all who contributed. We are fortunate to have the support of such a generous school community.

PTO News

Mark your calendars: the next PTO meeting will take place on Thursday, January 16th at 7:00 p.m., and will be held in the GWS library. We hope to see many of you there!

The PTO board would like to thank all of the GWS families for your help and support throughout the year thus far! We hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season and Happy New Year.

Around the District

Marshfield students in grades PK-5 have a chance to show off their creativity by submitting names for Marshfield's snow plows. Students may work as a class, team, or individually to create and submit their entries. Entries are due January 10, 2025! Contest winners will be announced in mid-January. Submissions will be reviewed and selected by the Marshfield High School 2025 senior class officers! Submit your entry HERE.
