SEL Second Step Program
Dear Parents,
This week is our final week of our Second Step Program. Students will continue to work on conflict resolution. They will continue to practice using respectful communication by changing blaming language statements into respectful communication. They will practice the four steps to resolve interpersonal problems which are:
1. Respectfully state the problem
2. Think of solutions
3. Explore possible outcomes
4. Pick the best solutions
Try this at home:
Practice turning blaming language into respectful communication whenever possible.
