Family/Teacher Conferences will be held on Oct. 3rd and Oct. 8th from 4:00-7:00 PM.

• Conferences will be face-to-face and are an open format where parents/guardians use their student's schedule to locate the teachers they would like to visit.
• There is no sign up or assigned times. Teachers will meet with families on a first come-first served basis as they are able.
• Student schedules will be available if your student is unable to attend or if you prefer to visit teachers without your student present.
• If your family prefers a phone or zoom conference, please contact each teacher directly to set that meeting up.
• Please enter using Door #1 (our Main Entrance) located on 115 N. 4th Street.

The annual College App Day is Tuesday, Oct. 22nd. Students may apply to a ND college with no application fee on this day. We will have college representatives in the counseling office all day. Seniors are encouraged to come to the counseling office during their free period on that day.

AP exam registration and payment for May exams are due to the counseling office by Thursday, October 17.

Families who qualify for free/reduced meals must reapply each year. Last year's lunch status will expire on Oct. 8th. If there is no new application submitted prior to that date, student meals will be charged at the full rate. Lunch status is not retroactive, so any meals purchased at the full rate will be the responsibility of the family to pay those charges until the new application is processed. Families can reapply for free/reduced lunch by going to the MySchoolApps.com website.

Activity Refunds may be issued if certain criteria are met. If you believe your student qualifies for a refund, please download and fill out the refund form below and submit it to our office.

• To be eligible for a refund, your student must not have played in any games, left in good standing, and returned any equipment.
• Requests must be made during the same school year the fee is paid.
• Paper copies of the refund form are available in the main office upon request.

If you purchased a 2023-2024 GFC Yearbook, they will be distributed at 3 PM on Tuesday, September 3rd and Wednesday, September 4th outside the main office. Beginning Thursday, September 5th, you can pick up your yearbook anytime in the main office.

There are 10 extra yearbooks from 2023-2024 for sale. They will be sold on a first come first serve basis at 7:15 AM on Monday, September 9th in the main office. The cost is $60. Only checks (payable to GFPS) and cash are accepted as payment.

The 2024-2025 yearbook will be sold online again this year on the Friesens website:

The cost is $55.00 plus a $2.75 processing fee. All payments are processed by PayPal, but a PayPal account is not required to complete the purchase. At checkout, the purchaser can choose to pay with a debit or credit card instead of using a PayPal account.
