Music News - Spring Concerts
On May 5th & 7th the 8th grade band will be performing for the DMS 5th grade tour. The 7th grade band will be performing for the 5th grade DMS tour on Tuesday, May 6th. On Friday, May 9th the 8th grade band will be traveling to Bismarck to march in the annual Bismarck Band Night Parade. The parade starts at 6:30 PM CST. If interested in watching the parade, go to eckroth.com for a detailed map to the marching route. Our Spring 6-8 Choir Concert is on Monday, May 12th at 6:00 pm. On Thursday, May 15th, our 6th grade band will have their Spring Concert at 6:00 pm. Lastly, the 7th and 8th grade Spring Band Concert will be on Friday, May 16th at 6:00 pm. All are welcome to attend our DMS concerts!
Device Usage Agreement
School devices and accessories must be returned in to Dickinson Middle School in their original condition at the end of the school year. If the device and/or accessories are not returned or are damaged, the cost is as follows:
Chromebook: $300
Keyboard: $60
Case: $40
Screen: $60
Charger: $30
Yearbook Distribution
A limited number of surplus Yearbooks will be for sale on a first come-first serve basis before school on Wednesday, May 21st. Yearbooks will not be held for anyone, and payment is due upon purchase. Cost is $50.00. Yearbooks that were ordered and paid for in advance will be distributed during Homebase on Thursday, May 22nd. All library books, Chromebooks, chargers, sports uniforms, and fees must be received in order to receive your Yearbook.
Spring Activites
Spring activities are upon us which means students will be absent from school for competitions. Please remind your student to complete all work and maintain high grades if they are to participate in competitions. Extracurricular activities are an important part of school, but academics need to be maintained for students to be absent from school. For students to be eligible they must be passing all classes, additionally, they must have all work completed and handed in before departing.
