As we gear up for another exciting school year, we are reaching out to ask for your help in making our school the best it can be! We are actively looking for enthusiastic and dedicated parents to join our Messmore team in various roles. If you have ever thought about contributing more directly to our school community, now is the perfect time to get involved!

We are currently seeking:

- Lunch/Recess Supervisors

- Breakfast Supervisors

- Substitute Clerical Workers

- Substitute Early Childhood Teacher Assistants

- Substitute Paraprofessionals

- Substitute Teachers

These opportunities are available through EDUStaff, and interested persons must complete the pre-employment process by visiting www.edustaff.org. For certain positions, you may need to attend an EDUStaff processing and orientation session at a local meeting site.

Joining our team is a great way to make a difference in the lives of our students and to be a part of the positive energy at Messmore. We would love to have you on board!

We are excited to announce that our Open House will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024! This event is for parents only and is designed to give our teachers the opportunity to share important information about classroom routines, communication, and curriculum. Presentations will be held in each teacher's respective classrooms. Format will be forthcoming.

To accommodate families with more than one child, we will offer two teacher presentation sessions:

The first few weeks of school are the most challenging as we get back into the lunch and recess routine, especially with our kindergarteners. If you are interested in becoming a supervisor, or willing to volunteer, please contact our office.
