🌟 Dear Cavazos Parents,

As we prepare to embark on a new school year, we extend a warm welcome to you and your children. Tomorrow marks the beginning of an exciting journey filled with learning, growth, and community.

Here are some essential details for the first day:

Doors Open: At 7:00 AM, our doors swing wide open, inviting students into our safe and nurturing environment.
Breakfast Service: From 7:00 to 7:25 AM, students can enjoy a nutritious breakfast, connecting with peers and energizing for the day ahead.
Tardy Bell: The Tardy bell rings at 7:30 AM. (No students are marked tardy on the first day of class.
Safety Attendance: Teachers conduct a safety attendance at 7:35 to ensure all students have arrived at school.
Parent Accompaniment: On this special day, parents are encouraged to walk their children to class, sharing in the excitement and easing any first-day jitters.
Student Independence: Starting from the second day, our students will confidently navigate their way to class with staff support, fostering independence.
Official Attendance Time: At 9:30 AM, we’ll take official attendance, ensuring every student is accounted for. Students who are not in class are marked Absent.
Dismissal: Dismissal time is 3:00 PM, and our courtyard will buzz with reunions and stories as families gather.

We are excited to get our DoJo on!

As a reminder, all students must be opted in and be eligible to ride the school bus. You can find your child's bus number and the Edulog Code on the Home Access Center. The Edulog Code will also be sent to eligible riders via email.

If your child rides the bus, we ask that you download the Edulog Lite app.

The app provides you with notification of bus delays, changes, and you can track the bus within the app!
