DAVIS PRIMARY NEWS
What a wonderful week of school!
Our teachers and students were so happy to be back together again. Our students saw friends they haven’t seen in a while, learned new games, shared stories, and were ready to learn. Our students did a great job of wearing masks and learning new routines. I asked one kindergartener how her day went and she exclaimed, “It was the best day ever!” I agree with her!
Families did a great job of certifying this week too. Please remember that certifying is a 2 step process. Certify online AND initial the tag on your student’s backpack.
Reminder - Please remember that when parents are dropping off or picking up their children outside to please remember social distancing and mask wearing. Of course it is a relief to take our masks off outside, but I would ask that parents please keep their masks on since there are so many children and parents around who may be in close proximity. Thank you for your cooperation.
Richmond Intermediate News
Thank You!
We wanted to thank all of our parents for their flexibility in bringing students to Richmond in small groups to meet their teacher. We appreciate your patience as we ensured we had correct transportation routes and students were certified. It was so energizing to see our students and we are so happy to have them back in school! We look forward to seeing all of our students in person, on Wednesday, August 26th!
School Hours & Calendar
The elementary school day is from 8 a.m. - 1:40 p.m.

Student Arrival & Dismissal Procedures
Self-Certification
Just a reminder ALL students need to complete a self-certification EACH day before entering the building.
Visit www.d303.org and click on the self-certification form. This needs to be done daily. In ADDITION, parents need to initial the backpack tag. Both steps need to be completed each day.
Extra Extra!
As we will be wearing masks most of the day, it is important that your child packs at least one, if not two, clean masks in their backpack. If their mask gets wet or dirty, we want to make sure we have a new one for them to use. Keeping a baggie of extra masks in their backpack will help tremendously during the day!
