By joining PTA, you are supporting many programs at Riebli, includsing Art, PE, Library, and more. You don't have to come to a meeting to join (but we have fun and would love to see you). Join PTA shows that you support Riebli, Riebli PTA and the magic it brings to our school community.

Don't wait until Spring! Last year many families came in at the end of the year wanting a yearbook. We do not order extra yearbooks! Order now and don't worry about it in May!

Greetings Riebli Families,

This week all classes were able to check out books from our Riebli Library! All week I went over proper care for our books, as well as talking about building the good habit of borrowing and returning. I encouraged all children to read out loud to someone in their family, as it’s excellent practice.

Please take note of your child’s Library Day. Help them to remember to put their book in their backpack for return or renewal. Please make sure you have a safe, dry place for the books. Younger siblings and pets that like to chew on things are often a danger to a book. If, for some reason, the book is damaged, I will make sure to let you know of the procedure to take care of it. I know accidents happen, but we want to make sure to have a plan in place to help avoid them.

With over 200 new books being added to our Library since June, we have something for every child. I work hard to make sure we have age-appropriate books for your children, and I love seeing them grow in their love of reading. It’s starting off to be a great school year for reading!

The State of California is providing FREE breakfast (served at snack time) and lunch to all children.

At Riebli, students need to SIGN UP with their teacher for snack or lunch at the beginning of school each day. This allows us to know how many meals to prepare.

The menu will be located in the Riebli Record weekly. If your student has dietary concerns, please email Melanie at mbarmore@mwusd.org to do the paperwork.

Music Signups have started for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders! If your upper-grade student is interested in taking a music class this year, please sign them up ASAP! Music classes begin the first week of September. Late forms will only be accepted until the second week of September, then registration will be closed for this school year.
