Annual Santa Breakfast, Turkey Bowl, Emergency Preparedness and More!
Neighbors Helping Neighbors in the Wake of the Storm
Last night’s powerful cyclone swept through the Pacific Northwest, leaving a trail of downed trees and power outages in its wake. Yet amid the chaos, the Maple Hills community shone brightly. Nestled at the end of a road with just one way in and out, our unique neighborhood came together like never before.
Neighbors sprang into action, checking on one another, offering warm meals and shelter to those in need, and clearing blocked roads together. An “unofficial chainsaw brigade” quickly formed, with volunteers working tirelessly to remove trees from yards and even homes, ensuring families could begin to recover.
Stories of kindness were everywhere—families opening their doors to share warmth, hot coffee, and words of encouragement. This is truly a special neighborhood to be a part of, where resilience, kindness, and community spirit thrive.
As we continue to come together in the aftermath of this storm, supporting one another in cleanup efforts and recovery, we’re reminded of the strength and connection that make Maple Hills so extraordinary.
Together, we weather the storm and grow stronger as a community.
